Petit Gary

Gary as a student in Montreal: this is from his student i.d. in the late sixties. His parents soon thereafter moved to Spain where Gary attended a French system school. The family was essentially quadrilingual: English, French, Italian, Spanish. When I first met him, I remember Gary had a vague but unmistakeable accent of some kind. He had just left Europe to live in Vancouver because his wife, Liv, had given birth to their child. But, more on that later.
