This demonstration was a few years later, probably 1980, in front of the new CBC building. I believe it was in response to new outrages against gay men committed by the infamous Montreal police. I never saw the photo until after Gaetano's death; but just a glimpse brought back those haunting feelings of lust and love from an era I now can access only when I close my eyes. So strange.
