I have taken so damnably long to get this bloody slide show up that I only have a sliver to time to say ... I adored the d’Orsay. What a magnificent building. See “Structure” for more pics of this magnificent restoration.
 
I found myself more moved by the Impressionists than I thought I would be, especially Monet. Impressionism has long seemed like a teenage obsession to me ... certainly it was the thang when we were young. Not sure what the kids are lookin at these days.
 
As with the Cluny, my notes are a little inadequate, and i do not know all that I ought to about what i am observing ... grateful to anyone who can fill me in.
